Work History: As a Petroleum Engineer Dr. Summers oversaw and managed the first Trans Panama Pipeline Submarine loading facilities for super-tankers. He was a Project Coordinator on the largest offshore drilling and production facility in the North Sea. He served as a Project Manager for the first supertankers offshore loading facility in the United States, Louisianna Offshore Oil Port off New Orleans, Louisiana.
Career Accomplishments: In 2001 Dr. Summers was recruited to become a Google Scholar and was also inducted into the Justia Society having been cited or reference over 5000 times. Dr. Summers invented the first Memory-Associated Endless Vascular Stent. He invented and coordinated with the renowned Michael DeBakey, MD, to develop the first artificial heart pump and developed the first multilamellar circulatory liposome.
